We’re Hiring for ATB Coaches!
Picture this. You walk into a community driven training studio where every person is known by name, every class feels intentional, and every new member has the potential to begin one of the most meaningful transformations of their life. At Above The Bar Training, we are not just running workouts; we work hard, play hard and bring the fun! We are building an environment rooted in progress, accountability, and belonging.
We are looking for the right person to help us expand that mission. Someone who understands that coaching is not simply cueing movements. It is holding space. It is guiding people through self-doubt toward self belief. It is creating an environment where members feel supported, safe, and challenged in the best ways possible.
This role is built for someone who thinks in terms of impact rather than tasks. Someone who asks what the member needs and steps in without waiting for direction. Someone who knows that when the studio is running smoothly the owner is freed to grow the business and the entire community benefits.
This is a part time role with the opportunity to grow quickly into expanded hours and eventually full-time work as the studio scales.
The Outcomes You Own
Your success in this role is measured by the moments you create and the consistency you uphold. You will
• Lead Training Clubs with confidence and care, delivering a group training experience where every participant feels guided, seen, and supported
• Conduct New Member Onboarding Sessions that convert curiosity into commitment and set each person up for long term success
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional studio environment that members are proud to walk into
• Complete opening and closing procedures with precision so the team can rely on you without hesitation
• Support clients between sessions by answering questions in the app and providing steady, encouraging guidance
• Participate fully in weekly virtual team meetings on Wednesdays and monthly in person meetings so you stay aligned with ATB standards and initiatives
• Engage with the community by attending gym events and supporting marketing efforts
• Build personal training clientele as demand grows
What You Bring
• A commitment to creating an inclusive, uplifting community where every member feels welcome
• A minimum of two years of coaching experience
• A nationally recognized Personal Training or Group Fitness Instructor Certification
• The confidence to lead, the humility to learn, and the mindset to solve problems before they become issues
• Availability for 10 to 12 hours per week including Saturdays
• A natural ability to nurture client relationships and communicate with clarity and kindness
• Reliability and professionalism that allow the business to focus on strategic growth while trusting you with day to day execution
A willingness to be an active part of the team. You communicate clearly, support others without being asked, and understand that a strong culture is built through collaboration and consistency.
You know how to work independently, but you also value working in step with the team so members experience seamless care no matter who is leading the room.
This Role Is For You If
You take ownership instead of waiting for instruction.
You understand that a great coach is an equal parts educator, motivator, and community builder.
You find purpose in helping people expand the edges of what they believe is possible.
You want to be part of a growing studio where high standards, no drama, and genuine connection guide the culture.
